Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe work practices, i.e. attending compulsory safety courses and meetings, use of required PPE, incident/accident reporting and ensuring total adherence to all Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Policies, as well as other relevant policies, procedures and guidelines
- Ensures compliance to All Barrick’s policies and procedures
- Performs bin location review before and after Stock take
- Performs pre-planned stock take exercise in accordance with the established Standard Operating Procedures
- Captures the counted inventory into the computer system as per the procedure
- Records, investigates/resolves the discrepancies found by performing a thorough investigation
- Presents the counted inventory into approval system as per DOA
- Observes all safety and security procedures
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly
- Filling and archiving documents produced as a result of the stock counting activities
- Prepares and provides the required information by the Auditors (Internal or External)
- Performs other duties as assigned by the respective leader
Qualification Requirements:
- Certificate in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Ordinary level certificate – Form IV
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- 1 – 2 Years of work experience in Warehouse or Inventory Management preferably in the Mining Industry.
- Excellent communication Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have a detailed understanding of various inventory management tools and systems (ERP/EMS).
- Knowledge on basic MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel and Word in etc.
- Good Work Ethics
- Ability to Multi-task within the Supply Chain function

Responsibilities
- Ensuring all tasks or activities are executed and aligned with safety standard operating procedures and safe work instructions at all times
- Analyzing project specifications, developing work schedules, and delegating tasks to different teams
- Ensuring that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe
- Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements
- In-depth understanding of design and visualisation software such as AutoCAD
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and recommending actions
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, contractor’s performance) and report regularly on project status
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project stake holders to provide assistance and technical support.
Qualification requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- Project management experience is recommended
- Proficient with MS Office & MS Project
- Valid Driving License
Experience and competencies needed.
- Must have a minimum of 5 (Five) years worked as Project Engineer on Construction Projects
- Must have strong mechanical background with Steel Fabrication and Erection works, Equipment Installation and Commissioning works

Responsibilities

- Follow all maintenance procedures and ensure the completion of mechanical activities according to standard without causing any further damage to any component / system / equipment.
- Ensure equipment isolation, adhere to working at height and confined space standards/ procedures, and conduct pre-start checks/ inspections.
- Carry out mechanical repair and preventative maintenance to maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner to achieve production and cost targets.
- Carry out troubleshooting, faultfinding and corrective maintenance in order to solve unplanned equipment unavailability events.
- Ensure that maintenance practices result in maximum equipment availability.
- Utilize work instructions to determine job requirements, including job sheets, quality and quantity of materials/ resources etc.
- Perform routine checks on machines before using.
- Perform PM inspection according to the maintenance requirements and ensure preventive maintenance compliance.
- Conduct Mobile and Plant equipment upgrades/ modification as required.
- Ensure Maintenance Supervisor and all stakeholders kept informed of equipment availability status.
- Identification of mechanical equipment and resources, and selection and inspection of tools/ equipment.
- Follow up of outstanding maintenance/ repairs.
- Actively participate in training activities to gain new skills and develop full potential.
Qualification requirements
- Mechanics Trade Certification/ Full Technician’s Certificate/ VETA Grade one.
- Sound knowledge of Mining Safety Regulations and best practice.
- Mines Health & Safety Act Awareness.
Experience and Competencies needed.
- Minimum 5 years post apprenticeship experience Mechanical Operations.
- Experience working on Sandvik and Caterpillar machines is highly desired.
- Demonstrated competencies in the rebuild and servicing of mining mobile equipment.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to interact with People of diverse cultures and levels.
- Experience in open cast and Underground mining essential.

- Correct selection of hand power tools hand, welding equipment, thermal cutting equipment and thermal heating equipment and safety equipment for safe use.
- Using oxy acetylene welding & cutting, thermal gouging and thermal heating.
- Completion of basic welding, heating, and cutting job cards/ work orders, hot work permit
- Assist other mechanical tradesmen in maintenance work as required.
- Ensure Shaft Mechanical supervisor and all stakeholders are kept informed on equipment availability status.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Shaft Mechanical Supervisor within your capacity without jeopardizing Health and safety.
- Follow Safe Work Procedures and other maintenance procedures.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in mining areas and capable of working Underground
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
