The purpose of the job
Selling corporate goods and services to current and new clients within the designated territory and target is the aim of this position.
ELM Microfinance is looking to hire a skilled Sales Officer to help increase sales of goods and services in an attempt to streamline operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Important Duties and Tasks
Make appointments to meet prospective clients, follow up on recommendations from current clients, and use direct marketing to solicit new business.
creating and delivering proposals to potential customers in order to advertise ELM Microfinance products.
conducting market research in order to learn about new competitors (potential prospects), shifts in the market, and changes in consumer demands.
Reach performance goals for the expansion and profitability of the loan portfolio.
Creating and submitting to your immediate supervisor all necessary daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
Encourage ELM Microfinance’s values and brand by providing exceptional customer service and participating in CSR projects.
Engage in full-fledged digital and physical marketing for the microfinance products.
to monitor advertising and social media activity related to microfinance in order to keep a positive reputation among the general public and prospective clients.
Door-to-door visits to each of the segments’ physical addresses
Engage in negotiations with the advertising firms and Plan exhibitions and events to draw in new customers and promote your items.
Fulfill all tasks that the supervisor assigns you.
Proficiency and background
Excellent problem-solving and networking abilities
Market trends, rivals, and potential dangers must all be understood.
Proficiency in marketing and the capacity to execute novel and inventive marketing tactics
Excellent customer service skills and the capacity to foster great client relationships are demonstrated by the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Outstanding interpersonal abilities to bargain with advertising agencies and clients
Working with microfinance institutions and having experience in the digital and social media spheres will be advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swahili and English
IDEAL CURRENT STATUS:
A minimum of a business studies diploma
Being computer proficient and having sales experience will be advantageous.
