Job vacancy Gardener at Embassy of the Republic of Korea
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Dar es Salaam is seeking a qualified and experienced gardener to join our embassy.
POSITION: Gardener
LOCATION: Ambassador’s Residence, Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Dar es Salaam
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the garden, including lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants.
- Water, fertilize, prune, and trim plants to ensure a well-kept appearance.
- Remove weeds, pests, and diseases to maintain plant health.
- Ensure the cleanliness and general upkeep of the garden area.
- Perform other gardening-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture preferred.
- Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and lawn maintenance.
- Ability to use and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Physical fitness to perform manual labor tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swahili.
