Good Neighbors Tanzania is looking for individuals to join our highly motivated team in the following role;
Position: Marketing Officer
Reports to: Project Manager, Technical Manager
Location: Mbozi District in Songwe Region
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Contract extension is subject to funding availability, performance and/or mutual agreement)
The Marketing Officer position will oversee AMCOS business and marketing-related activities of the KOICA project, “Promote Income-generating through empowering coffee producers’ cooperatives on Climate Change Adaptation in Mbozi District, Southern Highland Tanzania,” under the general direction of the Country Director (CD) of Good Neighbors Tanzania (GNTZ) and under the direct supervision of the Project Manager (PM) and Technical Manager (TM).
Duties and Responsibilities
• Clearly communicate plans, schedules, and priorities to staff, management, and other stakeholders, including the government;
• Ensure that project activities are in compliance with KOICA and government policies and guidelines;
• Oversee daily administrative tasks, such as handling expense reporting, invoicing, organizing necessary documents, maintaining office supplies, and managing inventory.
• Promote AMCOS marketing initiatives carried out through the KOICA coffee project;
• Establish and cultivate relationships with relevant organizations and training institutions for small business development, microcredit, and financial planning;
• Provide technical support to AMCOS’ business activities, including marketing strategy development and business canvas design to strengthen AMCOS marketing capability;
• Prepare biannual operational and financial reports for the KOICA coffee project and activities execution;
• Take part in stakeholder meetings for the project to build strong networking relationships with various stakeholders, such as the Tanzania Coffee Board (TCB), local curing companies, and AMCOS, and to promote their involvement in the project.

Job Objective
Supporting the transport service in compliance with company policies and procedures will be the driver’s responsibility. In addition to planning each route according to traffic and road conditions, he or she is in charge of scheduling routine cleaning and maintenance services for the car. In the end, the company relies on him or her to meet its transportation requirements. In addition to the qualifications listed below, the candidate must have a current driver’s license, a spotless driving record, and no traffic infractions in order to be considered for the position.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Appropriate parking for official excursions and in the office complex.
• Use Docwave to make sure the monthly parking fee budget request (BR) is prepared.
• Make sure the car and its equipment are always cleaned, and prepare a budget request (BR) for the monthly cost of car cleaning.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and promptly notify the supervisor of any defects.
• Vehicle, toolkit, spare part, and other equipment control and storage.
• Promptly renewing auto insurance and associated licenses at least one month prior to their expiration date.
• Make sure the vehicle has completed 5000 kilometers of general maintenance before the next service and other maintenance deadline.
• Entering the distance in the vehicle log book both before and after a journey and upon returning to the office.
• Before and after the trip, make sure the vehicle log book is properly signed.
• As needed, make sure the vehicle maintenance book is properly recorded, along with the number of liters of fuel refilled and the money purchased.
• Make sure that vehicle fuel is properly managed.
• Making a fuel vehicle request through the system.
• To compile a monthly vehicle report on the fifth of every month and deliver it to the personnel in charge of vehicles.
• As directed, follow up on vehicle maintenance and promptly report any incidents, accidents, or defects to the supervisor.
• Complete the incident report form with the pertinent documents (photos, police report, etc.) and submit it for approval.
• Keep a close eye on any assigned job and report its status or progress.
