The Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) serves as the government’s main agency, established in 2022 through Act No. 10 of Parliament. Its role is to oversee, encourage, promote, and facilitate investments in Tanzania while also advising the government on investment policies and related issues. TIC’s vision is to become a globally recognized agency for attracting quality investments that drive sustainable economic growth.
Its mission is to streamline the coordination, promotion, and facilitation of investments in Tanzania and provide policy advice to foster a competitive, appealing, and sustainable investment environment. To enhance accessibility, TIC has set up five zonal offices to assist investors in different regions without requiring them to travel to Dar es Salaam. These offices are located in Kilimanjaro (Northern Zone), Mwanza (Lake Zone), Dodoma (Central Zone), Mbeya (Southern Highlands Zone), and Dar es Salaam (Eastern Zone).
These zonal offices help investors secure necessary permits, approvals, and licenses required to establish their businesses. TIC is committed to equal employment opportunities and encourages all qualified candidates to apply for available positions.
